WatchSuite ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information is collected when you use the WatchSuite iOS app and how it is handled.

1. Information We Collect

WatchSuite is designed with privacy as a priority. We collect minimal data:

• Location / ZIP code – Entered voluntarily by you in Settings. Stored locally on your device only; never transmitted to our servers.
• App preferences – Your selected watch feeds, dark-mode preference, and local radius. Stored only on your device using device storage (localStorage / UserDefaults).
• News article bookmarks – Saved articles are stored entirely on-device and never uploaded.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect your name, email address, or any account credentials.
• We do not require account creation or user registration.
• We do not use advertising networks or share data with third-party advertisers.
• We do not use analytics SDKs that track personal behavior.

3. Network Requests

WatchSuite fetches publicly available news headlines from Google News RSS feeds via our n8n automation backend. These requests contain only a niche identifier (e.g., "techwatch") and no personal information. Your device's IP address may be visible to our backend server as part of standard HTTP communication.

4. Third-Party Services

News headlines are sourced from Google News RSS. Clicking a news link in the app will open an external website in your browser; those sites have their own privacy policies.

5. Children's Privacy

WatchSuite is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect any changes.
